Portable Base Station System - Basic Plus

The PrepComm LLC Portable UHF/VHF Base Station System (BSS) provides a means of "off grid" communications and severe weather information in all environments including recreational, commercial and emergency situations utilizing multiple power sources.   

For recreational and commercial use, the BSS is preprogrammed to operate in "normal" mode, which operates on FCC-approved low power frequencies allowing the operator to communicate legally without an amateur license.

The BSS can also transmit in high power during an emergency situation as described in the included documentation.  PrepComm LLC highly recommends all operators first consult the FCC website for proper operation and obtain a license.  PrepComm LLC is not responsible for improper transmission on FCC regulated frequencies.
